Erika Flowers is the National Brand Ambassador for Copalli Rum, a sustainable, single-estate rum from the southern rainforest of Belize, the country of her family’s roots. Originally from the Bronx and based in New Orleans, she has built a nationally recognized career behind award-winning bars, including Compère Lapin, where she served as Bar Lead under James Beard Award-winning Chef Nina Compton.
An alum of the Turning Tables Bar Program with Bar 5-Day and WSET Level 2 certifications, Erika was named one of PUNCH’s 10 Best New Bartenders of 2023 and a Top 10 U.S. Bartender by the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in 2024 and 2025. She currently serves as the U.S. Central Co-Chair for the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, continuing her commitment to uplifting community, culture, and excellence within the hospitality industry.
