After culinary school, Kamat joined the team at Soho House, where her role required extensive travel throughout the United States, working at the Chicago, LA, and NYC locations. After engaging with her West African ancestry, she developed a passion for the region’s culture and heritage, especially with respect to the culinary traditions. Combining these influences with her professional and personal experiences, which included intimate family moments featuring traditional southern cuisine, Kamat developed her signature approach to cooking. She is currently the Chef De Cuisine of Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi in NYC
