Cassandra began her career at The Breakers Palm Beach in 2010 while studying Dance and Fine Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic University. In 2015 The Breakers awarded her the position of Lead Sommelier & Beverage Manager of Flagler Steakhouse, where she supervises over 665 selections. Under Felix’s supervision, the restaurant has won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence every year since 2015. Cassandra is also a contributor to The Breakers Grand Award-winning wine list. Cassandra was the Southeastern Regional Winner and a National Finalist of the Châine des Rotissuers Best Young Sommelier Competition in both 2017 and 2018. In 2018 she was awarded the Washington D.C. Young Leaders Summit Scholarship. She developed the wine list was part of the opening team and Head Sommelier at Centurion New York, a collaboration with Daniel Boulud and American Express. Currently Cassandra is guiding diners through their wine journey at Daniel Boulud’s eponymous 2-Michelin Star Restaurant, Daniel.
